Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. Today’s post is a poem about being a Priestess in devotion to Flower Brides!
Priestess of the Flower Bride
by Maranda Wabik
Sweet scent of flowers fills the air
Soft breeze blowing through my hair
Standing barefoot in the grass
Earthing to become a more grounded lass
I feel the energy pulse around me
Fissures of electricity show me who to be
Kundalini begins to rise
From the base of my spine where there’s a prize
Communion with the Plant Allies begins
As the Flower Bride shows me her fins
For the Flower Bride can also be watery
Showing us the steel beneath the silken shell
Balance of Maiden’s purity of intent
With Lover’s love of sensual scent
Walking the Path of the Flower Bride
Great Faery Queen Goddesses whose power I abide
Becoming a Priestess, Always an Enchantress
Learning to Walk My Path
The Path twist and the Path turn
As my Soul alights in fiery burn
Like the Rose has a thorn
So too, does the Flower Bride seek to warn
She warns me to live a life of truth
She inspires me to live a life of worth!
