Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   Today’s post is a poem about the beautiful energy of the Luna Moth!

Flight of the Luna Moth

Green Wings fluttering toward the back porch light

The Full Moon’s glow full of might

Faery Queen’s blessing is a welcome sight

Sweet little Moth

Dancing around the flame

Not a Butterfly, make no mistake

These fluttering Wings are that of the Luna Moth

She is such a beautiful messenger

Of Otherworldly grace

Reminding me of the Faery Race

And the Queen who is fair of face

The Luna Moth flies through patches of Mugwort

On her path toward the light

The silvery underside of Artemisia

Matching the Pale Green

Of the precious Moth’s Wing

Oh, she is such a wonderful sight to behold

Making those who are angry act less mean

The Flight of the Luna Moth

Is just the thing!
