Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   Today’s post is to announce that my fifth annual Love Week will begin on Saturday!   I chose to announce two days before the beginning of the theme week because I wanted to do a traditional Femme Fatale Friday post tomorrow.   

So, as is usual, I have decided to do a more nuanced and specific theme than just writing about love.   The theme of this year’s Love Week is Legendary Love!   That means that from Saturday, February 8, 2025, through Friday, February 14, 2025, I will be writing about love stories from the Arthurian Legends.

To be more specific, I will be writing about love stories from the Welsh, British, and French Romances of the Medieval Period, and these legends are Arthurian in nature!   The love stories I will be covering this week are found in The Mabinogion, the works of Chretien de Troyes, the works of Jean d’Arras, and the works of Sir Thomas Malory.   I hope that you will enjoy joining me on this week-long journey into the Legendary Love stories between Faery Queens, Knights, and Kings!    What story do you hope to read about this week?   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
