Dancing with the Flower Bride: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   Today’s blog post is a poem about how Dancing with the Flower Bride allows us to honor the energy of this Youthful Faery Queen.

Dancing with the Flower Bride

by Maranda Wabik

Humming the sound of a floral music track

A remembrance of the last song of Ophelia

Dancing with the energy of the Flower Bride

The life of the Floral Queen knows not the meaning of lack

The wind whispers to the Petals during a Kundalini Kriya

Oh, great Flower Queen filling me with pride

During my Dance

I feel truly seen

By the Faery Queen

A libidinous energy overcomes me

I can feel myself fall into the Floral Trance

 The oncoming Day of Love

Feast of Saint Valentine

Is a day to Honor the Celtic Venus

A Day to Celebrate the Flower Bride

The Queen who wears a Floral Crown

Adores the sweet-scented Roses

Oft gifted by Lovers to their Beloved

The Flower Bride has truly seen us

As we proclaim our love without a desire to hide

The Floral Queen encourages me not to frown

For her energy is one that poses

An undying power of loving words kindly said

As I lay my head

On the soft Petaled Bed!

~I hope you have enjoyed this poetic exploration of the Flower Bride’s adoration of Valentine’s Day.   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Note on Image: The image at the top of the post is a Herbert James painting of Tristan and Isolde.   I found the artwork on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tristan_and_Iseult.
