Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   Today’s post is some of my ruminations on how you can make your daily cup of tea, whether regular or herbal, into a Ritual to enhance your life!

Now, you may wonder, what does changing how you look at drinking your daily cup of tea have to do with enhancing your life?    The answer lies in the idea of Romanticizing your life and taking pleasure in the small things, which I wrote a bit about in my last Femme Fatale Friday post on embracing Venusian energy.   When we make our drinking of tea a Ritual, whether a magickal one or just a lifestyle one, we elevate our experience.   Instead of simply putting your teabag (or tea infuser) in a cup of water you heated up in your microwave, why not boil the water more traditionally in a kettle on the stove?   Instead of using a random mug, why not pull out that lovely teacup from your cabinet and your favorite teapot?   These simple choices make the experience far more sensory and pleasing!

Tea Parties need not be just for little girls, after all.   We can enjoy them at any time in our lives, even if we are just drinking our tea by ourselves!   If you are just by yourself while having your tea, a good way to make the setting more enchanting is to play some soft music and read a good book while sipping on your tea from a beautiful teacup and pouring new cups from a lovely little teapot.    It may be simple, but it is truly a gorgeous experience to create for yourself.   Plus, it is a delicious way to practice self-love and self-care!  

If you are looking to add some magick, as well as aesthetic energy, into your daily Rituals with tea, you can enchant your water (and or your herbs) prior to brewing.   I love to sing to my water and my herbs to do this.  That being said, I would suggest doing whatever works for you when it comes to practicing any magick you are incorporating into this sensory experience!
