Embracing Venusian Energy

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For this week’s Femme Fatale Friday, I have decided to focus on one of my favorite topics, embracing Venusian energy!   As the planet Venus is directly related to Divine Feminine Energy, with the Celtic Venus being deeply represented within many a Faery Queen Goddess, this is an ideal Friday topic.   Plus, after all, Friday is the day ruled by Venus, so that makes today the perfect day of the week to discuss Venusian energy!

We can easily begin to embrace Venusian energy by tapping into whatever we find pleasurable.   Now, this need not be a sexual pleasure, although that certainly counts, pleasure can be literally whatever makes you feel good.   Venusian energy is sort of the energy of sensory overload, at least at times.   When we seek to embrace any sort of Venus energy, we are asked to give into our senses.   This means surrounding ourselves with beautiful things to please our sense of sight, filling our home with delightful aromas to please our sense of smell, wearing soft and silky clothing to please our sense of touch, eating delicious and nourishing foods to please our sense of taste, and playing our favorite music to please our sense of hearing!

These may seem like very small changes to make, but looking to find some more pleasure in daily life really does tap into Venusian energy and aid you in living a life full of Romance.   For the record, you can live your life full of Romance by Romanticizing daily life, taking pleasure in the small things, as discussed above, and making even the difficult times a little easier to handle!   While being overly Optimistic can lead to delusion, as someone who is a natural Optimist, I can tell you that peering through rose-colored glasses is not necessarily about pretending everything is okay.   You can put on those optimistic rose-colored glasses and look at life with Optimism and Romanticism in order to better deal with struggles.   It is not about denial or being blinded by illusions, rather, it is about seeing the beauty in all things and remembering where you have been blessed in life, even during times of struggle!   Living life with an attitude of gratitude truly goes a long way in dealing with struggles better, and those rose-colored glasses are a great aid in seeing the good things we have and remembering to be grateful.

Since I mentioned the Celtic Venus at the beginning of this post, I want to end by briefly touching upon some Faery Queens who hold the Celtic Venus energy and who you can work with to Romanticize life and gain a greater sense of Optimism.  Possibly the most obvious Faery Queen Goddess who holds this energy is Guinevere, who chose to live her life with deep love, even if that love did not work out in the end.    Blodeuwedd is another prime example of the Celtic Venus, as she too chose love and, in doing so, found her Sovereignty!   Rhiannon holds the Celtic Venus not only in her deeply loving energy but also in her fertility and motherhood.   These three are all the Welsh Celtic Faery Queens of May, which is another energy that is inherently connected with the Celtic Venus!   Then there is also the Celtic Venus energy held by Melusine, who is loving, sexual, and maternal in turn.   Finally, there is the Celtic Venus energy held by Iseult, whose energy shares both the lover and the healer in equal turn!   Any of these beautiful Faery Queens can aid you in embracing your most honestly Romantic and Optimistic self through the Celtic Venus energy.

I hope you have enjoyed reading my ruminations on how you can embrace Venusian energy.   What is your favorite thing to do to ignite Venusian energy in your daily life?   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
