Winter’s Elfin Cheer: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   Today’s post is a poem about the Faery Magick of the Wintery season!

Winter’s Elfin Cheer

by Maranda Wabik

Sugar Plum Faeries and Enchanted Elves

The Yuletide season is full of Fay

Deep Winter’s magicks for me to delve

A wonderland of coziness with Santa’s sleigh

Walking through a snowy Woodland

Dancing in a circle of my Elfin Kin

Helps to make me feel at home in my own skin!
Lights twinkle on the tree

Letting me feel free

The Stars shine brighter on the long nights of Wintertime

A truly wondrous sight

Is the return of the light

Slowly dawning as the Solstice arrives

The Elves and Fay have much knowledge to impart

On the days of Midwinter cheer

Which I am very joyous to hear

As I release my old fear

Before welcoming in the New Year!
