Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   Today’s blog post is a poem about the beauty of Snowflakes and the Shadows we face in the Winter!

❄️ Snowflakes & Shadows ❄️

Snowflakes dusting the grass

Crystalline beauty en mass

As the stormy night,

Begins to lay a blanket of powder

Watching the lacy patterns

Of the flakes accumulate one onto another

I become transfixed by wonder

The constancy of the Snowfall 

Creating the illusion of safety

 Which makes me ponder

Winter’s icy bite makes me joyful 

To be in the protective embrace of

My Elfin Grot

The true home of my Elfin Soul

Where I feel whole!

Diving into the depths and scrying 

My inner Shadowland

Is a natural way to live

During the festivities of

Winter’s Wonderland!
