An Enchantment of Swans: A Poem

Fairest of Them All by Casey Langteau

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   Today’s blog post is a poem about embracing Faery enchantment while living the Priestess life!

An Enchantment of Swans

by Maranda Wabik

Strain and strife within this life cuts like a knife

Unsettled energy saps nature’s synergy

Grounding and centering

Is something the Fay Queens are mentoring

As I am honing my craft and Priestessing

The Ritual Waters of this Sacred Fount

In the Wild Greenwood

Will cleanse me of all that is of want

The Well’s Waters speak to me

In the Language of the Dew Drops

Calling me to Love myself truly

To transmute this burnout most unruly!

Salvation is the Elation of the Fay Queen’s

Sacred Fount,

Tending the Well is a duty given

To worthy Priestesses and Enchantresses

Working in acts of deep Devotion

To the pure ecstasy of this Awen Potion!

I swim like the Maiden Swan,

Into a new dawn!

Opening into a life of Enchantment

Working as a Fay Priestess in the Queen’s Encampment!

Following the Snowy White, Downy Soft

Wings of the Swans flying above the Sacred Fount!
