The Path to Authenticity

The Path of the Heart

Mirrors the path of true art

The Path of the Gut

Mirrors the path which won’t leave me in a rut

The Path of the Mind

Mirrors that path of getting myself out of a bind

My instincts exist to Guide

My emotions exist to Guard

I will not hide

From that which is hard

Following my own Authenticity 

Fills me with brilliant electricity

Like Selkies from the Sea

I cannot be forced to turn away

From that which is true to Me!

When I accept the Path that makes

My Soul Sing

I become all which I am meant to be

Setting my Spirit Free!
