Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. Today is a Tarot Thursday post about combining Tarot with Tea Magick in your personal rituals. There are endless possibilities when it comes to adding Tarot cards and Tarot archetypes into your rituals, and Tea Magick is so versatile in itself that the addition of divinatory techniques is honestly quite ideal!
When brewing your cup of Tea, there are so many ways to enchant that cup to drink in blessings. Simply brewing your Tea with intentions, singing to enchant the water and Tea before and during brewing, and stirring intentions into your cup as you add honey or sugar, already add some elements of magick to your Teacup! However, you can also enhance this with the use of Tarot.
You can incorporate Tarot by meditating on the Tarot archetypes via a Tarot meditation before drinking your Tea. You can also incorporate Tarot energy into your Tea Magick by using a clear glass teapot or teacup, as this will allow you to place the clear glass on top of a Tarot card that aligns with your intentions for that particular Tea Magick ritual! Tea Magick can be performed with regular tea, actually containing the Camellia sinensis plant, or it can be performed with any Herbal Tea blend. The possibilities are endless when combining Herbal Teas with Tarot archetypes, as any blend that holds intentions that align with that Tarot card’s energy will certainly enhance the ritual.
I personally use all sorts of blends in Tea Magick, with Camellia sinensis being a favorite for Tea Leaf Reading. Of course, when I am not reading the leaves, instead opting for a Tea Magick Ritual, I adore using my own White Rose of Avalon Herbal Tea Blends to perform Tea Magick. I find a lot of beauty in creating a ritual surrounding the energy of my own blends by enhancing that energy with Tarot archetypes. When doing this, I find that the Empress, the High Priestess, and the Lovers all work as beautiful compliments to Tea Magick featuring my blends! For example, Queen of Elfame is excellent for the Empress, Faery Priestess Potion is excellent for the High Priestess, and Leanan Sidhe Spell is excellent for the Lovers. I hope you have enjoyed this short post, which gives a brief overview of linking your Tea Magick or even just your own Tea Time with Tarot energy. What is your favorite way to use Tea and Tarot together? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
