Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   Today’s post is about the Five Seeds of Wisdom developed by Jhenah Telyndru for the Sisterhood of Avalon.   The Five Seeds of Wisdom refer to the seeds within an Apple, which create a pentagram when cut in half!   This is a beautiful system for working with the energy of Avalon, and it is something lovely to work into your Avalon devotions.   The Five Seeds of Wisdom can also be utilized in the process of journeying to Avalon during meditations!

Seed One: CALLING THE BARGE

~Keywords according to The Avalonian Oracle include initiation, new beginnings, facing the unknown, trusting the process, speaking your needs, starting down a new path, looking within, seeking truth, catalyzing growth, attracting life-altering experiences, embarking upon a new journey, and stepping into the unknown.   This is the first step on the Spiritual Journey and the beginning of the journey to Avalon.   In the Sisterhood of Avalon, the process of Calling the Barge is depicted as ringing a branch with silver apple-shaped bells to begin the journey to Avalon, which I find to be very lovely.   At the end of the day, the first seed of wisdom is all about the beginning of a process and delving into the scary unknown!   We all experience the energy of excitement when a new opportunity arises, and that is the energy of this seed.

Seed Two: PARTING THE MISTS

~Keywords according to The Avalonian Oracle include confrontation, Lower Self, illusion, limitations, revealing the pattern, naming the shadow, dark night of the soul, expanding sight, inner journey, and exploring the unconscious.   The process of confronting the darkness of Shadow and overcoming your fears must be done in order to continue to try and arrive in Avalon.   Once you have gotten onto the Barge of Avalon, you will have to come up to the barrier of the Mists that encircle the Isle.   That means you must part them, and this can only be done by exploring your shadows!   The parting of the Mist is the revelation of the Sacred Isle and also the revelation of all things that have been hidden, making this a powerful part of the spiritual process.

Seed Three: RETRIEVING THE SWORD

~Keywords according to The Avalonian Oracle include truth, balance, justice, clear sight, revelation, renewal, and Sovereignty.   The meeting with the Lady of the Lake is an important part of the process of seeking your inner truth.   The sword was once given to King Arthur, but we all can seek the Sword of Truth from the Lady of the Lake.   It is very important to move forward with truth and justice in mind, for this is how we begin to achieve Sovereignty!

Seed Four: REACHING THE SHORE

~Keywords according to The Avalonian Oracle include attainment, wisdom, victory, fulfillment, manifestation, abundance, cycles, and Sacred Center.   To arrive in Avalon is to be in the midst of true abundance and prosperity, which is why there is an association with manifestation.   Avalon is a place of endless blessings, where everything flourishes in abundance, and it is a triumph having overcome the Shadows to arrive on her Shores!   Avalon’s Mists encircle the Isle to protect all that dwell there, which is why when we arrive on Avalon, we will be so protected by her Sacred Energy.   With that protection in mind, it is made easier to move forward to explore all of the abundance and wisdom of Avalon without fear!

Seed Five: RECLAIMING THE ISLE

~Keywords according to The Avalonian Oracle include unity, being, clarity, big picture, sharpened perspective, Sacred Center, liminality, bridging the Worlds, integration, Sovereignty, attaining goals, and growth.   To reclaim the Isle is to be able to see clearly and embody your inner truth in the outer world.   This is the process of living out your Priestess nature, and once our cups are filled to overflowing, we can share our abundance with others!
