Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   Today’s post is the announcement of my fourth annual Gothic Romance Week.   As always, the week runs from tomorrow, October 25th through October 31st.    I am so excited to be doing yet another Gothic Romance Week here on White Rose of Avalon.   

This year’s specific theme is The Horror Of Fairytales!   Each day will focus on one fairytale and all of the horrific elements found within the tale.   That means that I will be especially focused on older versions of the tales.  The most horrific theme in each tale will serve as the baseline for each post to make things all the more interesting!   Some of these fairytales have so many horrific themes that it is nearly impossible to choose which is the most upsetting, so I will be writing a more in-depth overview of the tale.   No matter what, these posts will delve into just how unnerving fairytales can be!
