Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. Today’s post is about making progress on our goals as we are deepening into Autumn. While Autumn and the Witching Season is generally a time when things are coming to an end, with the warm weather cooling down and the plants and animals readying to go into dormancy and hibernation, it is also a powerful time to begin to see where all of our efforts have born fruit. After all, Autumn is also the time of Harvest and reaping what has been sown during the warmer months.
With that in mind, I think now is the perfect time to take a moment to look back upon how far we have come since the Vernal Equinox, now that we are past the Autumnal Equinox. For me, this year, and the Spring and Summer seasons, have been very packed with events. In March, for the Vernal Equinox, I began studying my Business Herbal Course at Herbal Academy, which I am now about halfway finished with, having completed the third unit and currently working my way through the fourth unit. After completing the first two units, which were largely about setting up a business, I realized just how much I had already done and how ready I was to begin the process of starting my business.
It was at the end of July when I officially filed my paperwork and had my LLC approved after discussing my business plans during a mentoring session with the awesome Suzanne O’Gara. That was the beginning of my business journey, which culminated on Friday, the 13th of September, when I officially launched my line of Herbal Teas here on my website! I have done a whole series of blog posts giving updates on White Rose of Avalon LLC’s journey, so I will not deeply discuss the long and complex process in this post.
So now, six months after the Vernal Equinox, I am a full-time small business owner. That is a far cry from juggling a day job with my Business Herbal studies, writing this blog, and recording YouTube videos. I also began my Patreon for the Summer Solstice on June 20, which was another great event for my own personal progress. Other than that, I have also done some smaller things to organize my home, like turning an old armoire into my personal herb cabinet, going through my books to create my Faery Library as part of my Patreon, and most recently, going through my books to find ones that I no longer have any need of. At the end of the day, every little bit helps both the growth of my business and the evolution of my own spiritual journey. All of this has also deepened my spiritual practices, as I have been able to really feel more myself, rooted in my personal Sovereignty!
