Some of the Most Essential Herbs for Crafting My Teas!

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darlings.   Today’s post is about my favorite herbs which I consider to be essential in my process of making my Herbal Teas!   I thought this would be a good way to stay on theme since I am officially launching my Herbal Teas on Friday.   Without further ado, let’s look at my four essential herbs!

ROSE

~I absolutely adore Rose, and for that reason, she makes a lot of appearances in my Herbal Teas.   This is perfect to really embrace my beloved Celtic Venus energy, and tap into the energy of the Faery Queens!   I have her in blends to embrace Faery Queen energy, in romance blends, in sexy blends, and in blends that are meant to soothe.   Rose is the ultimate flower of love, and that includes self-love, which is why she is so versatile in crafting my blends!

HAWTHORN

Leaf/Flower & Berry

~Hawthorn is a very essential herb for me, with it being the perfect heart-centered addition to most blends.   Hawthorn is also perfect for tapping into the Flower Bride and May Queen energy I work with so closely!   I love the creative options of either using the berries or the flowers and leaves to add this energy to my blends.   The berries make a great addition to add some color and sweetness!   You will see Hawthorn in one part or another appear in several blends.

ELDER

Flower & Berry

~Elder is another herb that is very important to me on a personal level, hence her inclusion in so many blends.   She is the ideal Faery herb, being so associated with the Fae folk in general!   She is also another herb where I am using both her flowers and her berries, meaning that I can get creative over whether I am using just one component or both in a given blend!

NETTLES

~Finally, Nettles is such a nourishing addition to a Herbal Tea Blend.   I love them for their richness in nourishing vitamins and minerals, and the taste is very soothing, making for a lovely base flavor in my blends!   I find that for blends to calm and soothe, you cannot go wrong with the inclusion of Nettles.

~I hope you have enjoyed this short look at four of my favorite herbs I use in my teas!   What is your favorite among these herbs?   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
