My Very Faery Birthday!

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darlings.   Today is my 33rd Birthday, and that means that this is a very enchanted Faery time of my life.   Each year that has a double number is always insanely impactful for me, so I consider them so very much to be my Faery Years!   Not that I do not embrace the Faery all the time, but these years have had some insanely important occurrences happen during them.

So, as a bit of a backstory, I have been planning this post for about a month now.   That being said, I realized how appropriate it was to consider this a Fae age when I was reading The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and it was mentioned that Hobbits come of age at 33 years old!   It just clicked on with me that this is a truly powerful portal time for me.   I also had a big revelation this previous Monday with the Virgo New Moon, as I was born on the Virgo New Moon, making that New Moon in Virgo like my Lunar Birthday!   Now that I have given some context, let’s get deeper into Faery birthdays.

Over the course of my life, my double number ages, 11 and 22 were very pivotal times.   At age 11, I was transitioning into my teenage years and readying to begin puberty.    It was at age 11 that I first began practicing yoga, which has become a lifelong practice now.   It was also at age 11 that I met friends who would be my closest confidants throughout junior high and high school, making that time much more bearable.   At age 22, I was in college beginning my studies to get my Associate’s Degree in Psychology.   While I did not continue that degree or use it in my career, I am so glad that I can say I have an associate’s degree.   But most importantly, I was also still 22 when I met my husband, as we met about a week before my 23 birthday, having met in classes during my second year at college!    Meeting my husband is truly the best thing that happened to me at college, and it is truly the central reason I am so thankful I went to college!   I think this is not a coincidence, as I do not believe in coincidences.   This was a pivotal time of transition into a new role, in fact, I think that is the true Enchantment of the Fae Birthday Years.   Times of double number ages are times of much powerful development!

This year, it is the beginning of my business, as I will be officially launching my line of White Rose of Avalon Herbal Teas this coming Friday, September 13th.   So, yes, I am launching my Tea Line for Friday the 13th, as this is such a very magickal time to launch an Enchanted Botanicals line!  Of course, I have been celebrating my birthday in many ways all of this week, but launching my business fully will be one of the best gifts I will ever give myself.   The fact that the launch of my business is so close at hand and that it is so soon after my birthday, really solidifies how important this Faery Year is shaping out to be!

I hope you all will see this as my gift to you in honor of my birthday as well!   How do you celebrate your own Faery Years?   Do you embrace the Faery energy on your birthday?   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
