Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darlings. Today’s post is an update on my progress with White Rose of Avalon LLC, my business that has begun to grow from this very blog! I felt like it was the ideal time to do an update about the new progress I have made on the way to officially launching my line of Herbal Teas. This is especially true because this bit of progress is very visible and obvious to anyone visiting my site!
Yesterday evening, I officially upgraded my website to function at an eCommerce level. That means that with the new eCommerce capabilities, I had to choose a totally new and refreshed look for White Rose of Avalon as a whole. So, I immediately got to work selecting a template format I liked and altering it to my own specifications. I made sure the colors fit my business and my overall color scheme preferences. That is why I totally changed them from the very basic neutral palette the template had to my very own combination of Green, Purple, and a simple White background!
Once I had the colors chosen, I went ahead and added some magickal pictures I took featuring Tarot Cards and Tea Cups, as that certainly fits my Faery Living and Enchanted Botanicals energy of the business, as well as my content on the blog. You will see that it specifies that this eCommerce platform is not taking orders yet, and you will continue to see that in the coming weeks until I get all of the supplies to make my first batch of teas ready for sale.
Speaking of the products I am producing for the launch, I have decided to specifically stick to just Herbal Tea Blends in the beginning. Then I can branch out from there over time! I am also specifically narrowing it down to seven tea blends to start with. I feel that seven blends give my customers a good amount of choice, but are not too many to overwhelm me when I am producing them for sale for the first time! I will get specific product descriptions to all of you once I have my herbal supplies ordered and I have settled on which tea blends of the many I have created make the cut for the launch.
