Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darlings. Today’s post is about what I call finding your Power Chakra, which is the Chakra that empowers your intentions. In particular, I am going to go over how I found mine. Some people lead from the Solar Plexus, the place of Personal Power, others lead from the Sacral Chakra, looking to have desires met, still others lead from the Crown Chakra, finding the answers through communion with their higher selves. In my case, I lead from my Heart Chakra, and that has become more and more prevalent in my life recently. Obviously, I have always known I was a hopeless romantic and tended to make the best decisions when following my heart. However, it was only recently that I realized that this is connected to my very deep connection with this particular energy center.
You may notice, that I did not mention those who are led by their Third Eye. That is because I think that all of us who are more spiritually inclined and those who have a Psychic nature at all, already have a very deep connection to the Third Eye. This post, and the idea of finding a Power Chakra, is about what makes your decisions, not so much about Psychic abilities. What I am referring to as a Power Chakra is the Chakra that empowers our intentions, impacting our actual actions. That is exactly why I have stated that the Heart Chakra is my Power Chakra, as I lead from the heart in everything that I do. I make my decisions based on Heart-centered Soul Intentions.
This could also possibly relate to my being a Leo Rising, as the zodiac sign of Leo rules the Heart, upper back, and shoulders. Meaning it is logical for someone with as many Leo placements as I have to also have a deep connection to following my Heart to achieve my desires! Not to mention that the herb Motherwort has the Latin name Leonorus cardiaca, which literally means Lion-hearted, and it is an herb that is famed for her connection to nurturing mothers, that is being the herb that ‘Mothers the Mother’. I personally think that the herb Motherwort is very Leo-oriented in nature, and Motherwort is very connected to the loving and nurturing nature that we associate with the Heart Chakra!
The Heart Chakra is also intimately linked to Venusian energy, and therefore the zodiac signs of Taurus and Libra. I have my midheaven in Taurus and my Mars in Libra (which links to my connection to the Divine Masculine). Of course, when we look at herbal associations, the most obvious Heart Chakra herbs are the Rosaceae family plants, which I have written a lot about, as this is my very favorite family of plants! As far as Venus and the Rosaceae family of plants, that all ties in with the energy of the Faery Queens who are associated with Love and whose energy encourages Heart-centered Soul Intentions, like Guinevere and Blodeuwedd. All of these various aspects bring this energy of living from the Heart Chakra pretty full circle for me!
