Delving Into My Watery Soul: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darlings.   Today’s post is a poem about swimming in the waters of the soul!

Delving Into My Watery Soul

by Maranda Wabik

Waves lapping the shoreline

Waves enveloping my bare feet, kissing my toes

I step into the Water

White Dress becoming slowly submerged

I swim more deeply into the Inky Depths

Oh, how my soul has Wept

The only light is the shimmering of the Moon’s Shining Orb

Guiding me to the Watery Abode

Delving deeper and deeper still

Oh, I have the will

Finding myself swimming,

With a White Lacy Dress billowing about me

Learning that I can Breathe Underwater

Sea Salt does not sting my eyes

For I have told no lies!

I swim and I plunge ever deeper

This is where I find my soul’s keeper

As I emerge from the Watery Depths

I find to my delight, that I have entered Faeryland

Through the Watery Portals

Which have been long feared by mortals

I AM HOME!
