Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darlings. Today’s post is all about how Spring is the time to begin Quests and follow the Call to Action, really putting all of our plans made over Winter into action with the new season! I personally find that the longer I walk my spiritual path, the more in tune I find myself with the changing of the seasons, truly celebrating each holiday and really feeling into the flow of the turning of natural cycles. With that being said, I am truly feeling the Spring energy in this first week after the Spring Equinox! To be honest, I have been feeling the call of Spring coming forward for a good two weeks leading up to the Spring Equinox.
So this is an ideal time to set our new plans into motion since it is the time when we plant seeds, both physical seeds in our gardens and metaphorical seeds to grow over the Summer and be harvested throughout Autumn! We can utilize this energy of planting seeds to help realize the potential of our own endeavors. It is the perfect time to embrace the potential of growth and change in our own lives and especially in our spiritual paths! Even if you are not ready to fully embrace the season of Rebirth and Renewal to put specific plans into action, it is still an excellent time to celebrate fertility and growth in any aspect of life you are feeling called to. No matter how big or small the changes are, it is always nice to use the time around the Spring Equinox to begin to tend the gardens of our souls in hopes of finding spiritual growth.
One of my personal plans that I have begun to put into action in this Spring season is that I have officially begun my next herbalism class! I am very excited to announce that I am continuing my herbal education, and even more excited about the specific class I am taking and the reason why! This time I have chosen to take The Herbal Academy’s Business Herbal Course. This is another online herbalism class, so it can be taken anywhere you are, and it is also self-paced which is nice if you have a difficult time making it to live sessions! As I have been on my journey to begin my own shop for a very long time, and I know herbal products will be a large part of my offerings, this Business Herbal certification class was the ideal way to learn both a deeper level of herbalism knowledge as well as getting to set up my business at the same time! I am very grateful that my herbalism teacher, Suzanne O’Gara, kindly vetted certification programs and schools for me as I was finishing out my first herbalism class. I quickly narrowed down my options to two of her recommendations, with The Herbal Academy winning out since it would help me not only deepen my herbal knowledge but also prepare me for my upcoming business!
