Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darlings.   Today’s post is going to be a short analysis of my connection to my favorite tree, Apple, as well as the other two trees I am most drawn to, Elder, and Hawthorn.   I have a deep bond with each of these trees, and I work with them much in the way that others may work with the famed Oak, Ash, and Thorn!   Think of this as my own version of Oak, Ash, and Thorn.

I can Apple, Elder, and Hawthorn the Faery Tree Triad which works well for me in my personal spiritual path.   There is some commonality in all three trees and their metaphysical and medicinal properties.   Each is associated with the Fae, obviously, but there is also a deep connection to the Otherworld in general, portals, and sensuality.   Apples are also the tree of immortality and fertility.   Hawthorn is likewise associated with fertility, but also with a deep sexuality, and the heart chakra!   Elder is both a protection against malevolent Fae, as well as associated with being a portal to the Faery Realms.    All three together in a way form a Divine Feminine triad of trees, that are portals into the Otherworld, connected to Faery folk of all types! 

All three trees are soothing in their embrace, both metaphysically and medicinally, with Hawthorn good for healing the heart, Apples good for overall health and wellbeing, and Elder being good for immunity!    Each of the three trees also has that womb-centered association with fertility, along with the heart-centered nature of the trees!    Working with the energy of Apple, Elder, and Hawthorn helps to tap into the Otherworld, work with Faery energy of all sorts, and work with the balance of life death, and rebirth.   In all of the different Fae realms, no matter the name, Annwn, Avalon, or Elfhame, we see the power of trees as portals and magick.
