Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darlings.   Today’s post is all about Elementals, which are Fae creatures that are the literal physical embodiment of the element they are associated with!

~UNDINES~

~Undines are the Elemental that is the embodiment of the Water element.    They are often said to appear much like a traditional mermaid, with a human torso and a fishtail.    As the embodiment of Water, Undines help delve into the depths of the emotions and move into the Underworld of our souls!

~SALAMANDERS~

~Salamanders are the Elemental that is the embodiment of the Fire element.   They are often said to appear much like their lizard counterpart, or else as spiritual shapes within the blaze of a Fire.    As the embodiment of Fire, Salamanders can help us inspire our creative endeavors and reignite passions that have burned out!

~SYLPHS~

~Sylphs are the Elemental that is the embodiment of the Air element.    They are often said to appear much like the traditional winged faeries.    Interestingly, although they are associated with the male element of Air, their appearance is usually feminine in nature.    As the embodiment of Air, Sylphs can help us let go of that which is no longer serving us so that we may find a renewed focus on our current endeavors, especially those of an intellectual nature!   They allow us to free ourselves from burdens so that we may fly.

~GNOMES~

~Gnomes are the Elemental that is the embodiment of the Earth element.   They are often said to appear as small-statured men with long beards.   Yet again, the Gnome is a female element associated Fae creature who appears as male, a sort of opposite of the Sylph in that way.   As the embodiment of Earth, Gnomes are excellent in helping build a solid foundation upon which to foster new growth.   This can be to increase the fertility of the land or of a person, or to increase the income of a person, therefore helping them become financially secure!   They allow us to embrace stability, but not stagnancy, so that we may grow into new versions of ourselves, but as the Earth herself does!
