Solstice Night Feast: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darlings.    Today’s post is a poem about celebrating the Winter Solstice!

Solstice Night Feast

by Maranda Wabik

The longest night of the year

Is finally here

Yuletide blessings,

Fond remembrances,

Gift giving,

Warm embraces,

Are all great ways to celebrate

On this Solstice Night!

Decorate the trees,

Hang the mistletoe,

Light the candles,

Wrap the gifts

Snow flies through the sky

Sugar Plum Faeries

Take wing to fly

Reindeer tracks are followed

Through the Wildwood

Warm mulled cider is poured

As a Festive Feast is laid

Family & friends gather

For this year’s

Yuletide Celebrations!

~Blessed Winter Solstice to All!  I hope you have enjoyed this poem.   What are some of your favorite Yuletide traditions?   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
