Wintertime Walks: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darlings.    Today’s post is a poem about being outdoors in the Winter months.

Wintertime Walks

by Maranda Wabik

Snowflakes glisten on long dark hair

Jack Frost nips at a reddened nose

On a pale face

As the body trudges along the path

Walking in a snowfall

Is such an ordinary place

To be during the Winter pall

Of snow white landscapes

Stormy winds blow

As a blanket of white

Is settled on Earth in a flow

Oh, Winter has such a bite

Time to retreat inward

Home & cozy

With a cup of tea!
