Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darlings.   Today’s blog post is about Tarot decks used specifically for personal spiritual development versus decks used for professional public use.   Those decks for professional use are also the ones I use to do readings for my friends and family.   Now, not every Tarot reader has the desire to have decks that they use only for personal development, in fact, some only have one deck which they use for everything, but I personally find having decks only imbued with my energy and using them for my personal spiritual and magickal development to be a helpful way of using my favorite magickal tool!

~DECKS FOR PROFESSIONAL/PUBLIC USE~

~My top decks for professional use are The Wildwood Tarot, The Llewellyn Tarot, The Herbal Astrology Oracle, The Faery Forest Oracle, and The Wisdom of Avalon Oracle.    My top decks for use with family and friends are The Tarot of the Hidden Realm and The Hocus Pocus Tarot.   You will notice that I also mentioned Oracle decks here, as I use both Tarot and Oracle daily I thought it would make sense to include both.    All of these decks are lovely and I jive with them very well, but I do not use them very often for any sort of personal use.   The only deck of these that I do still use for personal use is The Tarot of the Hidden Realm, as it is my very favorite Faery Deck of all time!   I do truly enjoy these decks immensely, and I also find them to read best for other people, versus for myself!   

~DECKS FOR PERSONAL USE~

~My decks for personal use are The Arthurian Tarot, The Crow Tarot, The Sacred Circle Tarot, The Mists of Avalon Oracle, and The Avalonian Oracle.    The Sacred Circle Tarot is my brand new acquisition, the newest deck in my collection.   I have already begun to form an incredible bond with the deck, and I had the inkling that I would adore this deck because it is the deck my herbalism teacher used for a reading she did for me, and I really liked the deck!    The Arthurian Tarot is the first deck that I used for insane daily personal development over the course of more than a year, due to my doing the Hallowquest.   Of course, I did get a lot of personal development out of the first Tarot deck I learned on, The Joie de Vivre Tarot, but The Arthurian Tarot took personal development via Tarot to a new level!   Both The Mists of Avalon Oracle and The Avalonian Oracle are the two Oracle decks that I use every single day, as they are my favorite Oracle decks and balance out different aspects of the Path of Avalon nicely.    The Crow Tarot is a great deck for anyone who is a Devotee of Morgan le Fay because I found that she loves to communicate through this deck!    Overall, I am so glad that I have a group of decks that I can use for major personal spiritual development!
