Once in a Blue Moon

Once in a Blue Moon

Does not happen on the New Moon

Great Orb filling the Sky

Illuminating Darkness, no place to hide

Time to bring Shadows into the Light

Strip away fears, heal pain

I may never be the same

Wounds are opened to be cleaned

That is the best way to heal, I have gleaned!

No, this is not unreal

To desire to fully feel!

Blue Moon is a time to peel

Back the curtain and reveal

The deep hidden truths

Within my Soul

What makes me truly whole?

What does it take to fulfill my dreams?

What do I truly need?

I need to feed my spirit

I need to soothe my soul

I need to be 

MY SOVEREIGN SELF!
