Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darlings!    For today’s post, I have decided to share another poem, this one about the cycles of death and rebirth.

Cycles of Death & Rebirth

Death of the old provides space for the new

Endings are truly new beginnings

Without allowing for the dying-off 

Of that which no longer serves,

We would never be able to grow!

For the old dead leaves of Autumn

Nourish the soil-rich ground,

Awaiting fresh growth in Spring’s fiery round!

The same is true with the Death of the Phases of Life

Which may bring about strife, 

Yet ultimately lead to Fresh Opportunities

And New Beginnings!

Death & Rebirth are but sides of a single coin,

Just as Light cannot exist without Shadow!

We honor the dying times of the Dark Moon,

While we await the fresh growth of the Full Moon!

Remember that the only constant in our lives,

Is the constancy of change,

The ebb & flow of the tides!
