Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darling readers! Today’s post is a poem that is about meeting Morgana.
Morgana, Lady of Avalon
by Maranda Wabik
Smell of Apple Blossoms
Permeates the air
Fertile soil beneath my feet
As I await the Barge
That will take me to meet
The Goddess of Avalon
I board the Barge
And find myself
Parted through the Mists
The vision of an Island
In the Distance
As the Barge
Braces upon the Shore
I disembark
Bare feet digging into the sand
Smell of Earth hangs heavy
In the Salt Water air
From the Forest’s edge
I see Morgana
Lady of Avalon
She takes my hand in a warm welcome
To the Sacred Isle of Healing!
