The Earth Element in My Natal Chart

Hello, my Darling Readers, today’s post is going to be on the Earth element within astrology.   I am someone that has very strong Earth element placements within my astrological chart.   For the longest time, I did not see how that worked with my personality.   But, as I have discussed in my previous posts on astrology, I have been diving deeper into my chart, over the last few months especially.   Finding out that I have a Leo ascendant (or rising) sign answered a lot of my questions as to why my personality did not fit what I thought a Virgo temperament should be.

Other than being both a Virgo Sun and Moon, I also have Uranus and True Node in Capricorn and a Midheaven in Taurus.   That links me to all three Earth signs very deeply!   I also have a lot of fire in my chart due to having several planets in Leo.   This leads to only one planet in a water sign and two in an air sign, Mars and Saturn in Libra and Aquarius respectively and Pluto in Scorpio.    That means that my chart is totally dominated by Earth and Fire, but Earth even more so.   Finding these things within my chart helped me to understand my fascination with Water, as it serves to balance the Earthy and Fiery energies within my chart.   Water calms the Fire to soothe emotions and bring stability.   Water nurtures the Earth allowing it to grow things in fertile soil and mix with sand to build castles, together the feminine elements allow for creation!

In many ways, I think of my chart now as a Warm and Sunny Faery Forest.   That is the energy of my spirit and my soul, giving me the personality that I thought was not very Earthy at all in the beginning!   Over time, I have come to realize that I had a lot more of the Earth Mama energy within me from the very beginning.     I have always adored walking barefoot in the grass, playing with flowers, laying down on the earth as I gazed at the stars, and was quickly attracted to Green and Faery magicks.   My studying of herbalism in an official class has served to deepen my connection to the Earth element even more.   My love of plants and trees has been with me since childhood, and was always about equal to my love of Water and swimming.   My favorite places have always been forests with streams or lakes, not beaches, because I want that deep connection to the Earth and trees as well as Water!   Now that I have come to realize this, it makes my journey into knowing my chart and connecting to the Earth element more deeply feel as if I am finally coming into my self in a new way.

I hope you have enjoyed my short post looking at how my elemental associations within my natal chart have impacted my life.   What are your insights within your chart?   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
