For today’s post, I have decided to share a poem that I composed about going through painful times in friendships.
Winter Wounds, Sister Wounds

Oh Sister
Why do you leave?
Is this drama
Due to your trauma?
Why do I get
No reprieve?
Is it part of
My sister-wound?
Is it my
Childhood pain
Which falls like icy cold rain?
Am I never meant
To have that sister-bond
Of Friendship?
Is the found family
Of Friends
Just a Dream
Never meant to be reality?
The truth is,
I do not know.
For now my tears
Fall like snow!
