Tarot of the Hidden Realm Review

For today’s post, I have decided to do a review of my newest tarot deck.   Now, I do want to do my customary preamble about how tarot decks are very personal, so my views on a deck may not coincide with your experiences.   With that clarified, I will get on to praising my favorite deck of all time!   It is honestly the absolute greatest deck I have ever had already!   The deck is Tarot of the Hidden Realm by Julia Jeffrey & Barbara Moore.  This is the deck I had implied I had always wanted when I did my Shadowscapes review.   I had said that while that deck was a great faery deck for reading for others it was not ideal for my own personal development.   This deck is the ultimate faery deck for my own personal development that I had been searching for over many years!

I had actually had this one on my wishlist for the longest time, but it took me far too long to actually acquire it.    I am so delighted that I finally got this deck!   Upon first opening the deck I could feel the overwhelming Fae energy coming off of it.   Each one of the cards feels like it is a portal into the Realms of Faery, with the most gorgeous artwork.   I love that some of the names of major arcana were changed to make them feel more Fae-centric.   For instance, The Wheel of Fortune became Fortune Faery and The Devil became Shadowdance!   What I truly adored was that they kept all of the common names for the minor arcana suits, but with just a great amount of Faery energy to each of the cards.   Once again I have to just gush about how absolutely beautiful Julia Jeffrey’s artwork is!   I am so floored by her talent, as each card feels like she was visiting Faery while painting them.   Each of the Ace cards in the minor arcana suits depicts animals, but most of the other cards throughout the whole deck depict countless beautiful faery beings.

Working with this deck is like wielding a world of Enchantment in the palm of my hands.   I cannot recommend this deck highly enough for those that feel drawn to the Fae-folk.   It is the perfect wild and wondrous deck to utilize in personal development, at least in my opinion.    I hope that you have enjoyed reading my gushing thoughts about this awesome deck.   Have you used this deck?   Are you interested in checking it out?   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
