For today’s post, I have decided to share a poem I wrote on the last full moon on December 8, which was also the last full moon of 2022. It is about the power of that most important celestial orb.

Of the Lunar Year
Waxing and waning
From New to Full
Waning and Waxing
From Full to New
Great Moon Above
Fill us with Love
Mother Moon
Nurture us
Sister Moon
Hold our tune
Preside over the tides
Of oceans
And of lives
As you Ebb and Flow
We feel Aglow
We gain more
Self-knowledge
Oh how we appreciate you
Great Lunar Orb!
