My Top 5 Favorite Incense

For today’s post, I have decided to do something a little bit different.   As part of my Faery Lifestyle series of posts, I have chosen to do a countdown of my favorite incense.   Now, I am a huge fan of burning candles and incense in my home.   My home usually always smells of incense even when I have nothing burning due to how much I burn them each day!

Number 5: Precious Rose Incense by HEM

~As a great lover of flowers and floral scents I just adore burning rose incense in my home.   HEM is a fantastic brand of incense that can be purchased in bulk.   They are long burning and have a strong scent, which makes them all the better!

Number 4: Romance Incense by Satya

~This incense has a lovely strong scent that is both floral and musky making it rightfully called Romance!   As a hopeless romantic, I could not resist buying this particular scent, and it has been a favorite for years!

Number 3: Black Magic Incense by HEM

~This is another HEM incense that is powerfully scented.   It smells natural and produces a sweet scent that is a mix of florals and other natural smells.   I also adore it for its name!

Number 2: Fairy Dreams Incense by HEM

~Fairy Dreams is a lilac scented incense also by HEM.   It carries you away on a bed of floral dreaminess, making it a perfect choice for unwinding after a long day at work!

Number 1: Myrrh Incense by HEM

~My number one incense just had to be HEM’s Myrrh incense.   I have been obsessed with it lately, burning several sticks each day!   It is lovely and sweet, as well as intoxicating and overpowering in a good way.   I really wanted to try incense that was myrrh with no frankincense added, as myrrh is sacred to Aphrodite.   I am so glad I found Myrrh by HEM, as it was exactly what I needed and has rapidly become my new favorite!

~I hope you have enjoyed this countdown.   Did I include your favorite incense?   Will you try out my favorites?   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

  1. There’s a local record store chain, http://www.Bullmoose.com , which sells handmade and Indian incense (Satya I believe. ) My go-to’s are Nag Champa, Dragon’s Blood, Sandalwood, Frankincense & Myrrh. But there’s so many other good ones. Tree of Life is good.

Mexicali Blues and the New Age shops carry a great hand-dipped incense line. Wildberry? Something like it… they make about a hundred varieties (pick your own), but the spiced incense is my favourite. Cinnamon, clove, etc.
