Calypso Poem

For this final post of Poetry Week, I would like to share a poem about the nymph Calypso.

by Maranda Wabik

My island

Became his home

For seven long years

I offered him

I offered him

My body

I offered him

My heart

Odysseus rejected

My love

He broke

My heart

He left me

For his wife

That bitch

My name is Calypso!
