For today’s post, I have decided to share another of my poems. This one is about a famous pirate and a mermaid.
Pirate & Mermaid

Pirates flying
The Jolly Roger
Feeling the salty sea air
A pirate captain
Has lost his hand
But he gains a plan
Having spent time
In Neverland!
He is now
Called
Captain Hook
And by crook
He will get his way
But maybe
The lovely Mermaid
Can sway
His desires
Away from revenge
And onto
TRUE LOVE
The pirate
Has found
His truest
Mer-Mate
In this Mermaid!
