For today’s post, I have decided to do a short review of Sea Magic: Connecting with the Ocean’s Energy by Sandra Kynes. So yes, I have read and loved yet another book about water magic and water faeries. This book is by a renowned author and magical worker, who has written eleven books. I am very happy that I have added it to my magical library, as it is a sweet and slim little volume that makes a great addition.
Sea Magic is a truly lovely book that has a great collection of information involving all areas of water magic. Kynes does a great job of explaining all sorts of types of shells in detail. Another great thing that the author does is catalog different sea animals that can be used as sea fetches or totem animals. The third thing I adore about the book is her list of water deities and magical beings associated with the element!
Kynes has some beautiful meditations and other suggestions held within this book. It is a great resource for anyone looking to dip their toes in the water of sea magic, as it is short and gives a concise overview of many aspects of this type of magical craft! I highly recommend it and hope that you have enjoyed this brief review. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
