For today’s post, I have decided to share a poem about discovering the shadow self.
Shadow-Self

I do not fear the darkness,
For I hold a shining light within.
It can shed illumination
On deep-rooted fears.
Going within the soul,
I can learn my shadow.
This inner knowledge
Allows balance to reign.
No one is without
Pain
No one is without
Shame
No one is without
Fear
By embracing these
“Negative” emotions
True growth
Becomes a reality!
