For today’s post, I have decided to share another poem.
Spin

Spinning out of control,
Mind begins to race,
Time begins at a pace,
And I’m ready to explode.
I feel the walls closing in
As the world is crashing down around me.
The only thing to save me
Are thoughts of you.
You are my life vest,
You are my rock,
You keep me tethered
As the world spins out of control.
In your arms I am safe,
Your embrace fills my soul with peace.
I know that together
We will weather the storm.
As the tides ebb and flow,
Suddenly I know that
I can handle any pain
As long as you are in my lane.
You and me it is simply meant to be.
Always and forever is the deal
We have made over and over again!
