My Top 5 Celtic Magick Books I Have Read in the Last 3 Months

For today’s post, I have chosen to do a bit of a follow-up to a previous post about my favorite Celtic magick books.   This is specifically a list of the top five I have recently read!

Number 5: Sir Gawain: Knight of the Goddess by John Matthews

~This book is about the Arthurian figure of Sir Gawain and his connection to the Goddess of Sovereignty.   In particular, it figures in Morgan le Fey as the Goddess, which we see in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.   Earlier he was a representative of Guinevere, as flower bride, before becoming allegiant to Morgana!   This is a perfect title for both Arthurian lovers and anyone interested in Celtic Goddesses!

Number 4: Ladies of the Lake by Caitlin and John Matthews

~This title is yet another that was written by Arthurian expert John Matthews, with his wife Caitlin.   Both know their Celtic lore, and they take us on a journey through the faery women of the legends.   It shows you the true power behind the Arthuriad!

Number 3: Cerridwen: Celtic Goddess of Inspiration by Kristoffer Hughes

~This title is about the Welsh Celtic Goddess Cerridwen.   She was a mother and crone Goddess, and is known for her cauldron of inspiration!   She is most famously associated with the story of the poet Taliesin!

Number 2: The Morrigan: Celtic Goddess of Magick and Might by Courtney Weber

~I love this title by Courtney Weber, she is a great writer of Goddesses!   The Morrigan is a great Celtic Goddess of war and magick.    For more information, please read this excellent book!

Number 1: Priestess of Avalon, Priestess of the Goddess by Kathy Jones

~This one has quickly become one of my all-time favorite magical tomes!    It is the book that has helped launch many a Goddess worshipper on their Priest/ess training.   She is also a founder of the Glastonbury Goddess Temple, making her a perfect voice for this important tome!

~I hope you have enjoyed this post.   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
