Winter’s Knight Poem

For today’s post I have decided to share another of my poems.

Winter’s Knight

by Maranda Wabik

Snowflakes dusting

Along deep auburn hair

As she turns

To peer into the face of her beloved.

A glint is in darkened brown eyes

As a smirk appears upon his lips.

He pulls her slight form

To his strong body

To protect her from the night’s air.

No words need to be exchanged

As lips meed in an embrace

Full of fervor

For the immortal love

Shared between the souls of two true mates!
