Queen of Snow Poem

Today I am sharing a very short poem I wrote in honor of this cold season! As you have likely guessed from the title it is inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen.

Queen of Snow

by Maranda Wabik

Queen of Snow,

Being of Ice,

Burning my body,

So cold it hurts,

Yet she seduces,

She entrances,

She makes us feel worthy,

Her icy embrace

Feels as fragile as lace,

It is something few can trace!

Become her beloved

Learn her story

Help spread true wisdom

Empower yourself to break her spell!

~I hope you have enjoyed this poem.   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Note on Image: The image at the top of the post is the Snow Queen, from the fairytale.   I found the image on https://villains.fandom.com/wiki/Snow_Queen.
