My Top 5 Favorite Holiday Films

For today’s post I have decided to do a countdown of my favorite holiday films.   Let me know if I include any of your favorites!

Number 5: Holiday Inn

~This is a WWII era film featuring both Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby!

Number 4: It’s a Wonderful Life

~Likely to be a film everyone knows and has likely seen, and I know I will get arguments over it only being number four.   I personally love it but I love the others more!

Number 3: Miracle on 34th Street (the original)

~I adore the original one with Maureen O’Hara as the mother and a young Natalie Wood as the daughter.   On a side note this is my mom’s favorite holiday film, so it had to be on this list.

Number 2: White Christmas

~This is one of the greatest holiday musicals!   I adore the song and dance numbers, and the laughs.   I make my husband watch this with me yearly.   Actually, my mom and I were the first ones to introduce him to this film!

Number 1: The Nightmare Before Christmas

~This one likely came as a surprise to no one who is familiar with my blog.    I adore Halloween more than any other holiday, so this one that combines the two is ideal!   Jack and Sally are two of the greatest Tim Burton characters, and I would so live in Halloween Town (if I could)!

~I hope you have enjoyed this list.   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
