My Top 5 Rebekah Mikaelson Storylines

For today’s blog post I would like to do a countdown of my top five Rebekah Mikaelson storylines from The Vampire Diaries and The Originals.   Rebekah was the original vampire sister of Klaus.   Without further ado here’s my top five!

Number 5: The Five

~So my number five storyline is The Five.   This is the storyline connecting Rebekah to the original vampire hunters!   They are known as The Five, and are reborn when one dies.

Number 4: Sister to the Originals

~The obvious storyline for Rebekah Mikaelson is that she is the sister to the Originals.    I love any of the many storylines that connect Rebekah to her family!   She was by Klaus’ side longer than anyone, and had great storylines connecting her to Elijah, and her newfound sister Freya!

Number 3: Auntie Bex

~This is the storyline where had Klaus to give his infant daughter into the care of his favorite sibling.   Who else would he trust to take care of his daughter, when he couldn’t, other than Rebekah.   Seeing her getting to be Auntie Bex, and live the near human life she always wanted was so sweet!

Number 2: Witch

~When we knew that Rebekah’s mother was a powerful witch, it lead so many questions over whether the children had powers.   It turned out Rebekah and Kol had powers that were just starting  to come out when they were turned, and lost all their connection to nature!   Kol had greater control of his powers back then, and he was better at using them in the human body he was possessing.   Rebekah, though, was able to gain control of her powers (at least a bit) when she possessed the body of a witch!

Number 1: Love Story with Marcel

~My regular readers here will know that I am a hopeless romantic.   That means that my number one Rebekah Mikaelson storyline had to be her relationship with Marcel!    This was a love story that spanned centuries, and had many twists and turns.    In the end they would be together, and that makes me happy.

~I hope you enjoyed this countdown.   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
