Hello, my name is Maranda Wabik, and I have taken on the title Enchantress of Avalon, which is also the YouTube channel that I run in conjunction with this website. I am writing this blog, White Rose of Avalon, to share my Faery Lifestyle, love of legends, folklore, mythology, Goddesses, Faerylore, history, and my Original Poetry with my subscribers! White Rose of Avalon was originally designed to be a place for people who love legends, fairytales, and history to be able to come to learn and join in on discussions about these subjects. While it is still all of those things, the blog has grown to feature a lot of spiritual topics and my own spiritual journey.
That is what led me to begin offering Tarot and Oracle readings as part of this website, as helping people by reading for them is something that I love doing! Beyond my love for doing Readings, I do them as an aspect of my Priestess work. I am a Priestess of Avalon, in particular, I am a Priestess of Morgan le Fay, Blodeuwedd, Guinevere, Melusine, and Rhiannon. Although it took me some time to officially use that title publicly, I feel so blessed to have been able to be initiated by my beloved Faery Queen Goddesses and to be Priestessing in their names!
Over time, the White Rose of Avalon blog grew into White Rose of Avalon LLC, with my Tarot Reading Services being part of my business endeavors. I also previously had a line of Enchanted Herbal Teas, which I have since discontinued. My love of mentoring and Priestessing has also led me to incorporate Classes into my business, as I have taught some in-person Herbal Tea Blending Classes and I have created an Online Class, a Faery Queen Immersion about Melusine! ~My background in Psychology has proven to be an invaluable resource in better understanding Archetypes and how they relate to Spirituality! My experience in studying Psychology also aided me during the brief time I was teaching preschool and even when I had a day job at a Library before beginning my blog. A better understanding of behavior is essential for building a greater level of empathy and compassion, which are integral to Priestessing. My Associate’s Degree is something that I am glad I completed, as it has helped lead me down the Faery Priestess and Enchantress Path of Avalon and even to become the Owner of White Rose of Avalon!

~I joined the Sisterhood of Avalon through the Calan Mai (or Calan Haf) Portal in 2023. As someone who had read all of Jhenah Telyndru’s books, I was delighted to finally take the plunge in applying. The Orientation process was very enjoyable, and it solidified that being a Member of the Sisterhood of Avalon, walking separate yet parallel Avalonian Path to my sisters, was for me!

~The first long-form Herbalism Class I ever took was by the amazing Suzanne O’Gara. While the class did not end with getting a certificate, it still proved to be an invaluable resource to further my Priestess Path! I gained so much wisdom and self-knowledge during the nine months I spent learning from Suzanne O’Gara and getting to know my amazing classmates. It has truly helped drive me forward in what would eventually result in White Rose of Avalon going from being a blog alone to being an eCommerce business, and I cannot be more grateful for my time spent studying in this class. In fact, my final paper for the class was a Centaury Monograph that I ended up getting published in the Journal of Medicinal Plant Conservation in 2024. This was something I did with the encouragement of Suzanne O’Gara. It was a major accomplishment, being the first time I had ever been published outside of self-publishing here!
