Melting Snow & Blooming Blossoms: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s blog post, I am sharing a poem about the beauty of the melting snow and the occurrence of the first late Winter and early Spring blossoms!

Melting Snow & Blooming Blossoms

by Maranda Wabik

White Flowers peaking through

Snowdrops breaking through

The soil is still hard

But the delicate blooms are growing

The Snowfall has ceased

With white powder still on the ground

But, oh, it slowly melts

The White Flowers continue to bloom

Little by little, the Snow being replaced

The White Snow is turning to White Flowers

One Sea of White traded for another

Oh, how this is Nature’s innate power

The melting Snow provides nourishment

To the thirsty Earth

Readying the blooming of other blossoms

Readying the transition into Spring

Readying the Soul for all that life will bring!

~I hope you have enjoyed this short poem.   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
