Green Goddess Energy & Faery Queen Magick

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darlings.   This week’s Femme Fatale Friday post is about embracing the energy of the Green Goddess when walking a Faery Path!    Now, this is a concept that I have written about quite a lot over the last year and a half especially, as I continue to study herbalism and deepen into my path as an herbalist.

Delving into the more Green Magick and herbology-centered energy of this Avalonian and Faery Path has really helped me to deepen into my own body!   I have become much more aware of my inherent gifts that are more embodied, than the gifts of being and Oracle receiving messages.   This embodiment allows me to channel the energies of the plants, the Fae, and the Goddesses in a more embodied way too!   I find that becoming more grounded in my approach to my spiritual path, with the blending of teas and mixing of herbal products becoming an excellent way to get out of my head, especially when it is full of anxiety and worry, and into my body, where I can appreciate the beauty of being at one with Mother Earth herself!   It has been a very rewarding experience to get back into my own body, especially as it promotes the ability to live more in the moment!   Building a more profound relationship with the bountiful herbs around me and tapping into the Essential Earthy Energy within myself has brought me into a greater alignment with my own spirituality.

Faery Magick and Green Goddess energy are intimately intertwined.   The Fae are guardians of the Wild Green World, preserving and fostering nature’s bounty for all the inhabitants of Mother Earth.    Many a Faery Queen Goddess has a Green Goddess aspect to herself in one way or another.   Morgana has her deeply held love of herbs, with her knowledge of herbal lore to be able to both heal or poison well attested to in the Arthuriad.    Blodeuwedd is a Goddess literally formed of flowers, so she could not be a more obvious living embodiment of the bounty of the land.   Rhiannon is a Sovereignty Goddess whose marriage to Pwyll cements his right to rule, taking on the energy of embodying the Land Herself.   Guinevere is a Faery Queen Goddess of Avalon who married King Arthur to bless his rulership over his Kingdom of Camelot, with her deeply fertile and bountiful abundant associations with the Golden Times of Plenty and her May Queen aspect, she is another Goddess who shows herself as the embodiment of Mother Earth made manifest to bless a ruler!   These are just my four favorite examples of Faery Queen Goddesses who also have a Green Goddess aspect, but there are many more.

I hope that you have enjoyed this short exploration of the connection between Green Goddess energy and Faery Magick.   What is your favorite aspect of Green Goddess energy at play in your own life?   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
