Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon my Darlings. For today’s post I have decided to share a poetic faery tale that I have written!
Elphame’s Child

Wintery wind whispers
Along pointed elven ears
Bright eyes become alert
To any changes in the atmosphere
Time to find the portal to her homeland dear
The Faeryland of Elphame
Calls her daughter home
On this cold Winter’s night
She can hear the plight
Of Fae folk in her home
And she grows concerned
That is when she finds the hidden door
And falls into Faery once more
~The Adventure Begins~
As she stumbled through the portal
In the Hawthorn tree
The energy of the Faery Forest
Knocked her off her feet
Knowledge of the war between
The Rival Faery Queens
Comes to her as if in a dream
She knows she must end the war
You may wonder why?
You see, dear friend, this lost changeling,
Is the true born daughter of the previous Faery Queen!
When she arrives at her mother’s stronghold
Everyone bends the knee
~The Battle Begins~
The three way fight for control of the crown
Is full of bloodshed and magick abound
Yet after seven long years
Our heroine, Queen Mab’s Daughter
Feels the crown placed upon her hair
As she is coronated
QUEEN OF ELPHAME!
